The writer begins the introduction with this ominous statement:"Somewhere in the Europe, a brilliant man is working behind the scenes to gain a position of absolute power over the emerging New World Order."This was in 1993. So far there is no sign of this "brilliant man" that the writer believes is the Antichrist. What's holding him? Maybe he lost interest.Despite the fact that the writer claims "the inspired Word of God", the Bible, has been his major source for this book, the writer does not really understand the Bible and happily plucks out a whole sundry of verses to support all his statements. In one page he refers to Isaac Newton, a 17th scientist who was also fascinated was biblical prophecy. Newton thought the world would not end before 2060. So far he has been proved right. The writer also states:"A detailed examination of prophecies outside the Bible will prove that these predictions are always both vague and incorrect." So should we include all the predictions in this book? They are clearly vague, incorrect and, so far, wrong! The title of the book is called "Prince of Darkness". Interestingly the writer seems to have omitted the one verse in the Bible where this title is found: 2 Kings 17:31 (Tartak, which in Hebrew means, prince of darkness). But I only read the first chapter, so maybe I am wrong. Much of the opening of the book simply repeated much of the (inaccurate) stuff that is already found in many of the books about this subject. Frankly I wish the Antichrist would turn up, then perhaps people like Grant R. Jeffrey may stop writing nonsense like this.

I thought I would take a stab at something different, broaden the horizons, shall we say. After the second chapter this book became so repetitive , the same thing was repeated in every chapter. The book could've been a statement as opposed to a full book.
